A Brooklyn performing artist is planning a public birth that she will put on display inside of a Brooklyn gallery. Artist Marni Kotak, is expected to give birth in 5 weeks, and will be on full ‘display’ beginning next week. “The Birth of Baby X,” will be displayed at Bushwick’s Microscope Gallery, where Kotak, will spend each day until the baby arrives.
With the due date still unknown, the gallery is putting together a list of visitors to inform of the impending birth.
Kotak’s husband and a Mid-Wife will be on hand to help with the delivery of “Baby X”.
