NJ Gov Christie wants Giants parade to be in Jersey

Not happy enough with having Jersey Shore, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is making a public appeal to have the NY Giants SuperBowl celebration parade IN New Jersey, if they win of course.

The roots of the franchise were planted in the Empire State, but the Giants (and the Jets) have played in Jersey for decades.

They play in New Jersey,” Christie said on the “Today” show. “They train in New Jersey.”

Reminded by Matt Lauer that the Giants have a “NY” logo on their helmet, Christie replied, “That’s about it.”

Mayor Bloomberg steered clear of any controversy:

“I want to be careful here,” Bloomberg said. “I don’t want somebody to say we jinxed it, so I’m not going to talk about it.”

What do you think?
